University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces enrollment for the high-quality, international training program and the French-language class specializing in Clinical Psychology, course QH-2012-X.

I. ENROLLMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL QUALIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM IN LINGUISTICS

1. Target: 20 2. Student rightsStudents are given high priority in training, specifically: - Being directly taught and guided in scientific research by leading scientists, prestigious and highly qualified Vietnamese and international lecturers. - Studying according to an international training program; in the first academic year, students will study English at the University of Foreign Languages. - Participating in 01 free extracurricular course/semester during the course to improve lifelong learning capacity, job-seeking capacity and personal development. - Being given an electronic library account of VNU; having private use of specialized libraries and multimedia classrooms; having priority in using learning materials, facilities, technical equipment, libraries and shared internet systems of the University. - Being arranged accommodation in Me Tri dormitory (if needed). In the first academic year, students will stay at the dormitory of the University of Foreign Languages. - Receive scholarships to encourage learning (expected type A: 650,000 VND/month, type B1: 610,000 VND/month, type B: 570,000 VND/month, type C: 530,000 VND/month) and be given priority in considering scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals; receive higher funding for scientific research than other systems. - Receive priority in selection for postgraduate study and create a source of lecturers (valedictorians and salutatorians are given priority in recruitment as lecturers of the school, and receive scholarships to study for a master's or doctoral degree abroad).3. Selection objects and methods 3.1. Selection objectsStudents who have been admitted to university at member schools of VNU-Hanoi in 2012 (regardless of the major), have met the requirements for foreign language proficiency test and essay writing, and satisfy one of the following conditions: a. Won third prize or higher in the national excellent student competition in Literature for grade 12 (2011, 2012). b. Have been excellent students for 3 consecutive years in high school (high school) in grades 10, 11, 12. c. Have graduated from specialized high schools of universities or provinces and centrally-run cities. d. University entrance exam score: 18.0 points or higher for group C and 17 points or higher for group D (excluding regional and subject priority points).3.2. Selection method3.2.1. II. ENROLLMENT FOR HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING PROGRAMS

Student rightsIn addition to the general rights of students in the regular training system, students of high-quality bachelor training programs also enjoy the following rights: - Being directly taught and guided in scientific research by leading scientists, professors, and lecturers with high qualifications and professional prestige. - Being able to participate in 01 free extracurricular course/semester during the course to improve lifelong learning capacity, job-seeking capacity and personal development. - Being given priority to be granted an electronic library account of VNU, priority to use learning materials, facilities, technical equipment, libraries, and internet systems for studying and scientific research. - Being given priority to be arranged accommodation in dormitories from the second year of study; being given annual cards to buy textbooks and reference materials for free at publishers and bookstores as prescribed by the School. - Receive study encouragement scholarships (expected type A: 560,000 VND/month, type B: 520,000 VND/month, type C: 480,000 VND/month) and scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals. - Receive priority in selection to study abroad according to the State's quota or according to international cooperation programs in accordance with the high-quality undergraduate training goals of VNU and the School. - Upon graduation, receive priority in consideration for transfer to graduate school and doctoral studies or selection to become lecturers and researchers of VNU.3. University entrance exam scores (including regional and subject priority points): Management Science major (group A: from 17 points, group C: from 21.5 points, group D: from17.5points), History (block C: from 18 points, block D: from 17 points), Literature (block C: from 18.5 points, block D: from 17 points), Philosophy (block A: from 17 points, block C: from 18 points, block D: from 17 points).3.2. III. ENROLLMENT FOR FRENCH CLASS IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

1. Target: 20 2. Student rights- Studying in the Psychology training program with an additional 440 hours of French language study and studying some specialized subjects in French. - Priority in using documents, learning tools, and the internet of the French-language postgraduate training program. - Priority in considering scholarships to encourage learning (expected type A: 560,000 VND/month, type B: 520,000 VND/month, type C: 480,000 VND/month) and scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals. - Priority as a source of enrollment for postgraduate training joint programs between universities of the French Republic and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; as a source of selection for postgraduate study abroad with state scholarships or international cooperation programs of the school.3. Selection objects and methods 3.1. Selection objectsStudents who were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2012 (direct admission or entrance exam, regardless of major), passed the foreign language proficiency test and had university entrance exam scores (including regional and subject priority points): Block A from 18 points, Block B from 19.5 points, Block C from 20 points, Block D from 18.5 points, are eligible to apply for admission.3.2. Selection methodAdmission based on university entrance exam scores among students who meet foreign language proficiency requirements, with priority given to students who have studied French in high school.

VI. ABOUT ENGLISH TEST AND ESSAY WRITING

1. Test content: - Foreign language (English): Students take a 90-minute test on 2 skills (reading and writing). Other languages ​​are not tested, based on the student's 3-year high school study results. - Essay writing: Students write an essay of no more than 1,500 words (equivalent to 3 A4 pages) in 60 minutes on a topic related to the student's perception of issues related to the field of study.2.
