CThe organization of the new student orientation day was meticulously prepared by the departments and faculties of the University. With the cooperation of the Youth Union and the Student Association, the enrollment process was carried out seriously, quickly, and efficiently.



Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department) stated: "Overall, the activities on the enrollment day went smoothly and thoughtfully, and were conducted on schedule. The faculty members in all departments were very enthusiastic in guiding students through the enrollment procedures. The school also arranged a waiting area with umbrellas and drinking water so that parents could comfortably wait for their children."

The school has directed coordination with faculties and departments to provide specific guidance: posting notices with maps showing the reception areas of each faculty, the locations of social policy application offices, photo studios, and dormitory registration offices so that new students can easily find them. In addition, a team of volunteer youth has been involved.under the guidance of the Youth Union and Student Association.They are always enthusiastic in helping and coordinating with new students by guiding them through the registration process, checking information on their enrollment documents, and making the enrollment process easier for them.

The Youth Union and Student Association of the University, along with the affiliated branches of the faculties, have been introducing new students to the activities of the university's clubs, the Youth Union, and the Student Association. They have also conducted interviews to identify potential future leaders for the Youth Union and Student Association. The website Tuoitrenhanvan.com, which provides information on Youth Union and Student Association activities, will also be introduced and promoted to new students during the initial political orientation session. Furthermore, support for new students in finding accommodation is maintained and effectively implemented, helping them overcome initial difficulties in their new academic environment. Annual activities such as seminars on study skills and computer skills will continue to be held regularly. The Executive Committee of the Youth Union and Student Association also announced that they will be organizing a "New Student Welcome Day" to welcome the new students. The event is planned to feature many useful and interesting activities. During the day, there will be stalls with student-friendly prices where people can exchange study materials or share their hobbies. The afternoon will be a festival, and the evening will include a cultural exchange night where everyone can get to know each other.

The enrollment day was filled with mixed emotions for new students, their families, and those welcoming them. Sharing his feelings on his first day of school, Pham Huy Hoang (Faculty of Information and Library Science) said: although he had prepared his enrollment documents very carefully, he was initially worried and nervous because he didn't know what he would have to do at the school or if he would miss anything. But with the guidance and help from the teachers and volunteer students, he quickly completed the enrollment procedures and felt very comfortable. Hoang's feelings are shared by most new students on their first day of school. Most of them felt unfamiliar when interacting with new teachers, new friends, and a new learning environment – ​​an environment that demands a high level of initiative, enthusiasm, and self-discipline from each student.

Speaking about her plans for the coming days, Do Thi Minh Hoa (Faculty of Tourism Studies) shared: she will study more Chinese and English to supplement her studies. At the same time, she will join a volunteer club at the school and wants to "run" for a position on the class committee to help her become more active and confident.

Some faculties had high enrollment rates on that day, such as the Faculty of Oriental Studies (129/131), the Faculty of Linguistics (65/67), the Faculty of Literature (94/99), and the Public Relations major of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication (54/58)...
