Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 3053/ĐQGHN-CTHSSV dated September 3, 2013 of the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi on the implementation of the interest-free loan program from the Vietnam Student Support Fund of United Overseas Bank (UOB) for students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the University requests the Board of Directors of the Faculties/Departments to notify full-time students of the following content:
1. Students eligible for loans
1.1. For students borrowing for the first time - Have academic results in the 2012-2013 school year of average or above;
- Have training results in the 2012-2013 school year of average or above;
- Priority is given to students from difficult family circumstances; Actively participate in social activities and scientific research.
1.2. For students who have received loans: Students who have signed a loan contract with UOB Bank, if they maintain their academic results as in the previous semester and wish to continue to be considered for loans this semester.
2. Loan application form for first-time student borrowers
- Notarized photocopies of documents: Identity card; Permanent residence registration/Temporary residence registration; - Transcripts of the last 2 school years (with confirmation); For students of course QH-2013-X: Notarized photocopies of high school transcripts; Notarized photocopies of the Notice of Admission to the 2013 regular university entrance exam;
- Student resume (with confirmation);
- Application for loan to pay tuition fees (according to the Fund's form);
- Other documents (if any).
Students put the above documents in a 25cm x 43cm file bag, the outside of the file bag must have full information (Full name, Date of birth, Faculty - School address, list of documents).
3. Loan application form for students borrowing for the second time or more
- Academic transcript for the 2012-2013 school year (with confirmation); - Photocopy of the Debt Receipt for the most recent loan.
4. Regulations on the form of submitting UOB loan application
The school requests students to submit by course class so that the Class Committee can compile a list (according to the form) and student loan application documents to send to the school (through the Office of Politics and Student Affairs) before October 10, 2013 (Thursday). For students borrowing for the first time, after receiving and checking the student's documents, the school will issue a "Loan application for tuition payment" to the Class Committee. After the above deadline, if any unit has not sent the list and application documents to the school, it will be considered as not participating in this program.
