During the meeting, Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa stated that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has a tradition of training in Tourism Studies since the 1990s and is currently a leading institution for undergraduate and postgraduate tourism studies in Vietnam. Unlike some other training institutions that focus on tourism business administration or tourism culture, the Faculty of Tourism Studies at the University trains students in Tourism Studies based on a broad and comprehensive foundation of basic knowledge, from which they can then delve into specialized fields of Tourism Studies.

Introducing the University of Budapest, Dr. Evá Sándor-Kriszt shared the following information: The university has 17,000 students and comprises three colleges in the fields of Finance and Accounting, International Business, and Commerce, Food Service, and Tourism. International Business and Commerce, Food Service, are the most important and leading fields. The university offers bachelor's and master's degrees and has begun offering doctoral programs in collaboration with European universities.

Based on the framework agreement signed in 2012, representatives from both universities discussed the possibility of cooperation in the field of Tourism Studies, focusing on student exchange, teacher exchange, and joint research collaboration. Both sides agreed on a step-by-step approach to implement these collaborations effectively. In the immediate future, the two universities will collaborate on a research project on the topic of "Safety and Security Cooperation in Tourism."
