Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan visited some universities in Yunnan (China)

On May 22, 2017, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities visited the Yunnan Judicial Police Academy. In 2016, the Academy sent 19 students to study Vietnamese at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and in 2018, it will continue to send 23 students to study for 10 months. Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan had a direct meeting with the Director Khuong Gia Hung to discuss the cooperation plan in the field of Vietnamese language training. The school representative awarded Vietnamese language certificates to 19 students who completed the course at the school in 2016.

Then, on May 23, 2017, the delegation of the University visited Yunnan Agricultural University. The delegation met with more than 50 students of the Vietnamese Language Department, Foreign Language Institute (Yunnan Agricultural University) and introduced the Vietnamese language training programs to the students here. Vice Principal Hoang Anh Tuan also had a discussion with the Director of the Foreign Language Institute and the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in the field of training students and lecturers of Vietnamese language as well as promoting short-term study tour programs.

On May 24, 2017, the delegation of the School worked with the Vice President of the Academy of Literature and Arts, Yunnan Normal University. The leaders of the two schools discussed the possibilities of future cooperation, especially the prospect of organizing study tour programs for Chinese students to learn about art, culture, traditional Vietnamese arts, etc. In addition, in the 2017-2018 school year, the Academy of Literature and Arts will continue to send Vietnamese language major students to study at the School under the annual cooperation program between the two sides.

On May 25, 2015, Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan worked at Yunnan University of Finance and Economics. This is a partner that has established a cooperative relationship with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for many years. Every year, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics sends 20-30 students to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to study Vietnamese. The leaders of the two schools agreed to continue to strengthen cooperation in the field of Vietnamese language training, improve the qualifications of Vietnamese language teachers, and establish scientific research groups to carry out joint research projects between the two sides.
