A close collaboration between training institutions and employers.

"The connection between school training and employers/businesses must be an inseparable interactive process..."—That was the statement of Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Vietnam Association of Business Administrators (VBA) held on May 29, 2008.

"The connection between school training and employers/businesses must be an inseparable interactive process..."—That was the statement of Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Vietnam Association of Business Administrators (VBA) held on May 29, 2008.

This is a significant event, considered a turning point in the efforts to understand, exchange information, and cooperate between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - as the training institution - and the Vietnam Association of Business Administration - representing the agencies that employ human resources. And in the current context, where the connection between training and the practical needs of the labor market has become an urgent requirement for education and training in our country, this event becomes even more meaningful.

Emphasizing the benefits for both sides when joining hands in this cooperation agreement, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh said:Through this collaboration, businesses not only promote their image but also participate in the training process as a form of investment in high-quality labor, selecting graduates who meet their requirements through a commitment to prioritizing human resources from the school.From the school's perspective, this collaboration will “Contributing to improving the quality of training."And students will..."Having a clear career path and choosing one's abilities from the outset, while also being able to assess the value and effectiveness of acquired knowledge."

Representing the Vietnam Association of International Business, Dr. Han Manh Tien - President of the Association, affirmed:All for the sake of better governance, for a team of administrators with the competence and qualities to overcome the challenges of reality.He also believes that with this collaboration, the next generation of business leaders – the students currently in school – are expected to continue and develop the dynamic and innovative traditions of Vietnamese business leaders, contributing to improving the quality of management and the competitiveness of businesses and the country in the process of globalization.

After discussions, both sides agreed to comprehensive cooperation in three key areas: training, scientific research, and human resource utilization. Accordingly, the main areas of cooperation include:

First isCooperation to improve the quality of training activities. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will develop training programs, compile textbooks and materials, and organize training courses at various levels and in various fields as commissioned by the Vietnam Association of International Business. The Vietnam Association of International Business will participate in providing feedback on the content of internship programs and facilitate the placement of the university's students in internships at businesses...

SecondCooperation in organizing scientific research activities, exchanging experiences, and other activities. Both sides will jointly develop specific scientific research cooperation projects for each stage to support and coordinate the implementation of research projects in areas of mutual interest.

Third isHuman resource cooperation: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will prioritize recommending outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students with suitable professional skills for the Vietnam Association of Business Administration to recruit for employment at its member units. The Vietnam Association of Business Administration will provide recruitment information and create opportunities for the university's students to apply for vacant positions at member organizations and businesses.



In the presence of numerous guests and members of the press, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Dr. Han Manh Tien - President - representing the Vietnam Association of International Business, signed the cooperation agreement. The joint coordinating committee for cooperation activities between the two sides was also introduced to the delegates.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Han Manh Tien presented Professor Nguyen Van Khanh with a commemorative gift: a globe, along with an explanation containing a very interesting philosophical meaning:With knowledge, a strong economy, and the entire Earth in your hands."
