Signed a cooperation agreement for training Master's degree students in Hotel Management.

With the assistance of the French University Center in Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the University of Toulouse Le Mirail, is implementing a Master's program in Hotel Management – ​​the first program in Vietnam to train hotel management personnel. The signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement took place on May 8, 2008, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with the participation of representatives from both sides, including: Prof. Daniel Weissberg - Vice-Rector of the University of Toulouse Le Mirail; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Dr. Nguyen Huu Hai and Dr. Laurent Grosclaude - Co-Directors of the French University Center in Hanoi.

Also on May 8, 2008, a cooperation agreement was signed between the University of Toulouse le Mirail, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Francophone University Center, and the Accor Group at the Metropole Hotel. According to the agreement, Accor Group will provide scholarships for students and facilitate internships for Master's students in Hotel Management at the group's hotel system.

This is the third collaborative training program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the University of Toulouse le Mirail. Previously, the two sides collaborated on master's programs in Organizational Management and Master's programs in Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology.
