Attending the ceremony were, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University), representatives from the Cooperation and Development Department, and the Faculty of Oriental Studies; on behalf of Samsung Electronics Vietnam, Mr. Kim Byeong Sam (Deputy General Director of Administration and Human Resources), Mr. Lai Hoang Dung (Head of Training Department), and especially the 20 trainees participating in the course.
In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to Samsung Electronics for their trust in choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as the unit to train its outstanding employees in Korean language for many years. He hoped that through improving their Korean language skills, the trainees could learn more about Korean culture, country, and people, using this as a foundation for their work and careers.

Representing Samsung, Mr. Kim Byeong Sam expressed his gratitude to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for providing the opportunity to organize training courses for the company's employees; and hoped that the University would continue to be a reliable partner in the future. For the trainees, he hoped that they would fully utilize their abilities, overcome all difficulties and obstacles, and achieve high results in the next 13 weeks. He hoped that with the knowledge of Korean language and culture provided in the course, the trainees would make significant progress and have better career opportunities in the future.

The Korean language course for outstanding employees of Samsung Thai Nguyen will take place over 13 weeks, from September 13th to December 20th, 2019, with approximately 770 hours of study. Students will attend classes from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, averaging 10 hours of continuous study per day. The course includes a mid-term exam in weeks 2, 6, and 10, and a final exam in weeks 4, 8, and 12. The goal is for students to achieve a TOPIK Korean language proficiency certificate at level 4 or higher.
