At the meeting, representatives Huynh Thi Hong Hai and Nguyen Van Huong introduced the Vietnam Himalayan Buddhist Club, a group of Buddhists who admire Himalayan culture and often organize charitable activities in healthcare and education. After following information through the media and admiring the willpower and determination of student Tran Thi Hong Ngoc to overcome difficult circumstances, the club decided to raise 26 million VND to support her. This is a modest gift in terms of material value but has great spiritual significance for her.
On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his gratitude to the generous benefactors, members of the Himalayan Buddhist Club of Vietnam. He stated that the University always welcomes and appreciates acts of humanity towards students from disadvantaged backgrounds. He hoped that with this financial support, along with direct support from the University, student Tran Thi Hong Ngoc would strive to overcome life's challenges, achieve high academic results, and fulfill the expectations of her family and teachers.
