At the meeting, representatives Huynh Thi Hong Hai and Nguyen Van Huong introduced that the Vietnam Himalayan Buddhist Club is a group of Buddhists who admire Himalayan culture and often organize charitable activities in health and education. After following information through the media and admiring the will and determination to overcome difficult circumstances of student Tran Thi Hong Ngoc, the club decided to mobilize and donate an amount of 26 million to support her. This is a modest gift in terms of material but has great spiritual significance for her.
On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh expressed his gratitude to the generous donors of the Himalaya Vietnam Club. He said that the University always welcomes and applauds humanitarian actions for students with less fortunate circumstances. He hopes that with this amount of support and direct support from the University, student Tran Thi Hong Ngoc will strive to overcome challenges in life, achieve high academic achievements, and meet the expectations of her family and teachers.
