Opening of the Traditional Room of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities

The Traditional Room is a place to preserve and display images, documents, and artifacts about the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, to help staff and students better understand the history, glorious achievements, and typical traditions of the University. Each artifact and each photo displayed is a vivid story about the contributions of generations of teachers and students of the University. This opening event is of great significance as the University looks forward to celebrating its 75th anniversary of tradition and 25th anniversary of establishment next year.

The exhibition contents in the Traditional Room are designed according to 7 themes: Respecting the past; University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Formation and development process; A time of fire and flowers; University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Training, research and international integration, serving the cause of building and protecting the country; Forever with time; Mission and social position; Tradition of Humanities. In addition, the Room has an exhibition in the lobby to introduce practical and meaningful activities of the University such as the Singing Contest about the border, Festival of propaganda teams for revolutionary songs, Singing Contest of cadres and students to celebrate 65 years of tradition of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities...

The slogan “Cherish the past, hold the future” and the school logo with 3 symbols: the book, the torch and the Temple of Literature symbolize the tradition of studiousness cultivated over thousands of years of history.

Themed booth “A time of fire and flowers” ​​presented examples of young students and lecturers of the School who put down their pens to fight in the resistance wars to save the country; the most prominent of which was Le Anh Xuan (Ca Le Hien).

The Fatherland honors 27 martyrs who were cadres and students of the School who sacrificed their lives in the resistance wars to save the country.
