On the evening of September 23, 2014, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University organized the "Youth Journey" program. This program was part of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the tradition and 20th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to welcome the new academic year, to welcome new students, and to summarize the volunteer activities of the 2014-2015 academic year.

Comrade Tran Bach Hieu, Secretary of the School's Youth Union, delivered the opening speech for the program.

Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh, Vice Rector of the University (far right), thanks the organizations that have supported the university's youth in volunteer activities.

Comrade Truong Ngoc Kiem, Secretary of the Youth Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (far right), presents certificates of commendation from the Youth Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi to representatives of student volunteer clubs, teams, and groups of the University.

Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh presented the first, second, and third prizes to the students in the "Humanities in Me" competition.

Following the awards ceremony, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh delivered a speech to all the young people of the university.

Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Anh (on the right), representing the sponsoring organization, awarded over 40 scholarships totaling 80 million VND to new students who achieved high scores in the recent aptitude test.

Following the awards ceremony and scholarship presentation, the program continued with cultural performances by the school's youth.

K60 Tourism students performed a vibrant Flashmob with the theme "I Love Vietnam." This cultural performance served as a statement that the K60 Humanities generation will always embody youthfulness, dynamism, and creativity.

The dance "Silk Waves on the Suburbs" by students of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language.

The Son Club of the school with "Four Seasons Medley"

The program was enlivened by a popping dance performance from students of the Library and Information Science department.

The performance "Dance of the Vietnamese Lotus Spirit"
