Nowadays, religion has an increasingly important position and is always considered a special field in social life. Building a state of law on religion has become a common and urgent task for every country in the world, because it is the way, the effective measure to resolve the relationship between religion - state, religion and society.
In that context, religious law has become a specialty in social sciences in general and in legal science in particular. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam is also on the path to building a socialist rule of law state, so the need to build a specialty in religious law has become more urgent than ever, and for Vietnam, that must begin with the dissemination, education, and training of researchers and law enforcement officers in this field.
All students of the course took a souvenir photo with scholars and guests attending the opening ceremony.
From that reality, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has cooperated with Brigham Young University (USA) to open short courses on religious law in Vietnam. 2015 is the 4th year the class has been organized under the cooperation of the two units.
The number of students participating in the course is 70 people. These are officials with expertise in religious studies, law, political science, social management, philosophy, and cultural studies from many agencies and different regions of Vietnam. The lecturers of the class are leading professors in religious law in the country and abroad.
