University of Social Sciences and Humanities participates in the exchange program "A time of fire and flowers"

At the meeting, Ms. Tran Hong Dung - Vice President of the Management Board of the "Forever Twenty" Fund expressed her desire to organize an exchange program between Veterans, especially Veterans who were students of Hanoi National University, and the youth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

This will be a meeting of history, between the predecessors who carry in them memories of war loss, pain but are heroic and indomitable, and the students - the young generation who were born "without knowing what war is".

In 2005, Vietnam Television and the Quang Tri Citadel Veterans Association, the “Forever Twenty” Fund successfully coordinated to organize the live television program “A Time of Red Flowers” ​​at both ends of the Quang Tri Citadel and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The program brought a part of the fighting memories and the echoes of the glorious victory of our ancestors at the ancient Quang Tri Citadel battlefield closer to the awareness and patriotism of the students - the present and future generations of the country. Ten years later, with the same spirit, the “Forever Twenty” Fund returned to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with more expectations.

Ms. Tran Hong Dung shared: it will not only be limited to the meaning of finding history, roots or encouraging, motivating, and promoting patriotism in young people, but the meeting also aims to send a message: whether on different fronts, whether in wartime or peacetime, the young generation of Vietnam always turns to the Fatherland with the desire to contribute and build their country and homeland.

In addition, Ms. Dung also praised the intelligence, enthusiasm and creativity of the Humanities students and expressed her wish that the School would support the idea generation, script development and program framework of the exchange. The goal is to build a successful program that leaves a lasting impression on viewers, while ensuring the best communication and good documentary footage for the Fund.
