The University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the exchange program "A Time of Fiery Flowers".

During the meeting, Ms. Tran Hong Dung, Vice Chairperson of the Management Board of the "Forever Twenty" Fund, expressed her desire to organize an exchange program between veterans, especially veterans who were students of Hanoi University, and the youth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

This will be a historic encounter, between those who came before, carrying within them the memories of war, loss, suffering, but heroism and indomitability, and students – the younger generation who were born "without knowing what war is."

In 2005, Vietnam Television, the Quang Tri Citadel Veterans Association, and the "Forever Twenty" Fund successfully collaborated to organize the live televised program "A Time of Red Flowers," connecting Quang Tri Citadel and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The program brought a part of the fighting memories and the glorious, heroic echoes of our ancestors' victories at the ancient Quang Tri Citadel battlefield closer to the awareness and patriotism of students – the present and future generations of the country. Ten years later, with the same spirit, the "Forever Twenty" Fund returns to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with even greater expectations.

Ms. Tran Hong Dung shared: the meeting will not only be limited to the meaning of rediscovering history and origins or encouraging patriotism in young people, but also aims to send a message: regardless of the different fronts, whether in times of war or peace, the young generation of Vietnam always looks towards the Fatherland with a desire to contribute to building their country and homeland.

In addition, Ms. Dung also praised the intelligence, enthusiasm, and creativity of the humanities students and expressed her desire for the university to support the idea generation, script development, and program framework of the exchange event. The goal is to create a successful program that leaves a lasting impression on viewers, while also ensuring the best possible communication and providing valuable documentary footage for the Foundation.
