On the side of the University, the delegation was welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Principal of the University; Associate Professor Dr. Do Thu Ha, Head of the Department of Indian Studies, along with many lecturers and students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Faculty of History, the Faculty of International Studies and the Faculty of Political Science.
Relations between India and Vietnam have had a strong foundation of cooperation and friendship that has developed over a long period of time, from the time of Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and President Ho Chi Minh.
Identifying the potential for cooperation in many aspects in recent times, the Indian government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has considered Vietnam as an important partner in its Look East policy. And Vietnam also considers India as an important and strategic cooperative partner.
At the meeting, lecturers and students of the School listened to two presentations by the Indian Navy on maritime security, strategy and cooperation mechanisms.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Principal of the School, also discussed with the Navy delegation about the issue of changing the status quo and threats to peace and security in the East Sea.
After the presentation by the Principal, the representative of the Indian Navy continued to present on the topic of integrating multilateral security mechanisms in the Indian Ocean region.
The discussion attracted the attention and questions of researchers and experts from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. In the photo, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Head of the Faculty of History, asked questions to Indian experts.
In the spirit of learning, exchanging and open discussion, experts from India and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU provided the audience with a lot of useful information.
At the end of the exchange and working session, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh presented a souvenir with the logo of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU to the representative of the Indian Navy delegation.
