The delegation also included comrades Pham Van Thanh - Vice President of Vietnam Education Trade Union, Tran Van Ky - President of Nghe An Education Trade Union, Nguyen Thi Nhung Quyen - President of Ha Tinh Education Trade Union, Tran Van Quy - Vice President of VNU Trade Union and Pham Thi Kim Thanh, VNU Trade Union Office along with leaders and experts of Nghe An and Ha Tinh Education Trade Union.
In Con Cuong district and Anh Son district - two of the difficult mountainous districts in western Nghe An, the working delegation presented gifts including 30 million VND, 250 warm coats, 30 cotton blankets, 40 pairs of boots, clothes, candy, textbooks, notebooks, pens, school bags... to the Ethnic Boarding School and staff, teachers and students facing many difficulties in teaching, studying and living in the two districts mentioned above.
In Ha Tinh province, the delegation also presented gifts including 30 million VND, 290 warm coats, 48 pairs of boots, 35 blankets, clothes, school supplies, books, notebooks, candy, cakes, etc. to two boarding kindergartens and secondary schools for ethnic minorities in Huong Khe district - where the historic flood in 2010 caused great losses to the people and the education sector in the district.
Comrades Tran Van Ky - Chairman of Nghe An Education Trade Union and Nguyen Thi Nhung Quyen - Chairman of Ha Tinh Education Trade Union sent their sincere thanks to all trade union members of VNU for their attention, encouragement, sharing and timely and practical support for disadvantaged staff, teachers and students in the two provinces, especially in the current cold days.
During the working period, the delegation also offered incense at Truong Bon Historical Site (Do Luong District) and Vietnam - Laos National Martyrs Cemetery (Anh Son District), Nghe An Province.
