Prof. Philippe Peycam shares about the upcoming conference's theme
At the meeting, Professor Philippe Peycam made proposals regarding the content and cooperation plan between the Institute of Asian Studies, Leiden University, where the professor was appointed, with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and partners in Korea, France, and the UK to organize an international conference, revolving around the expected theme of Korea and Vietnam in global awareness.
Prof. Philippe Peycam also proposed some contents of the conference topics: culture, the transition of indigenous cultures of ancient kingdoms; medieval - modern urban culture; relations with China: trade, culture, diplomacy; Western cultural penetration, experiences of Korea and Vietnam; the modernization process, modern urban culture...

On behalf of the school's leadership, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim shared his joy that the International Institute for Asian Studies, Leiden University, represented by Prof. Philipe Peycam, had chosen and cooperated with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in organizing the conference.
Prof. Nguyen Van Kim supported the contents that Prof. Philippe Peycam had proposed, and emphasized: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU will actively participate and provide maximum support to the Institute, so that the conference can take place successfully and effectively.
The conference is expected to take place in February 2017, at the hall at 19 Le Thanh Tong.
