Postgraduate training cooperation with Tay Do University (Can Tho)

On the afternoon of January 18, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Party Committee Secretary (Vice Principal of the University) had a discussion with representatives of the Board of Directors of Tay Do University on the issue of postgraduate training cooperation.

At the meeting, the two schools agreed on common issues related to postgraduate training cooperation such as: training program framework, teaching support subjects and training funding. Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will support master training in Science and Technology Management and scientific research for Tay Do University.

The enrollment will take place in 2 phases. In phase 1, Tay Do University will organize enrollment according to the quota required by Can Tho Provincial People's Committee. After that, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will organize additional knowledge for students to ensure sufficient quality to participate in the postgraduate entrance exam. In phase 2, based on the signed documents and the number of qualified candidates passing the exam, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will cooperate with Tay Do University to train masters in Science and Technology Management. It is expected that the earliest exam will be held in September 2016.

Previously, in October 2015, Prof. Dr. People's Teacher Nguyen Van Khanh - Former Principal of the School had a discussion on this issue with Tay Do University, and the two sides also signed a general framework agreement on training cooperation.

Currently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has 61 postgraduate training programs (31 master's training programs and 30 doctoral training programs) and this number will continue to increase in the future. The training cooperation between the two schools is a major step forward in training high-quality human resources for the Southwest region.
