Regarding mechanisms and policies: Continue to implement reward regulations, build key investment funds and promote research results; Build strong research groups and adjust research centers; Establish support groups to assist individuals or research topics in carrying out scientific research products; Standardize research techniques and data analysis; Gradually improve indicators for performing scientific tasks; At the same time, cooperate with foreign publishers and scholars to promote international publications.
Many delegates also discussed enthusiastically around the issues: Is international publication difficult and How to publish?
Dr. Do Tien Dung - Director of Nafosted Fund - said: International publication is not as difficult as many people think. International publication must be considered the task of every scientist. The destination is not the article but the quality and influence of each published work.
"To contribute to promoting international publication in general, Nafosted Fund has included international publication in the hard conditions for funding topics. Along with 9 support areas - as Deputy Director Mai The Binh mentioned, the fund will accompany Vietnamese scientists to improve the quality of research projects - international integration and development."
In his closing remarks at the seminar, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will absorb and select opinions for early application to promote scientific research and international publication of research groups and scientists in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities.
