Hanoi National University has 2 candidates for the 14th National Assembly

The two candidates nominated for the 14th National Assembly of VNU are: Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of VNU Phung Xuan Nha (born in 1963); Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Vice Director of VNU Le Quan (born in 1974).

Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Director of Hanoi National University Phung Xuan Nha

Comrade Phung Xuan Nha was introduced as a candidate by the Politburo; Vice President of VNU Le Quan was introduced as a candidate by VNU according to the allocation quota of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee.

It is known that Mr. Phung Xuan Nha - Secretary of the Party Committee of VNU was appointed by the Prime Minister as Director of VNU since February 2013 and Chairman of the Council of VNU since November 2014. At the recent 12th National Party Congress, Mr. Phung Xuan Nha was elected as a member of the Party Central Committee.

Vice President of VNU Le Quan

Mr. Le Quan was appointed by the Prime Minister as Vice President of Vietnam National University, Hanoi since December 2014. Currently, Mr. Le Quan is a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Vice President of the Scientists Club of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Quan works at the Vietnam Education Consulting Organization and is the Director of the Center for Socio-Economic Transition Research Cedimes Hanoi (member of the Cedimes Paris Institute); is the founder and Chairman of the Vietnam Human Resources Directors Club (Hrlink.vn), Head of the Organizing Committee of Vietnam Human Resources Day.

At the Conference, voters of VNU expressed their opinions, comments and evaluations of each candidate. Accordingly, the recommended personnel all fully met the criteria to run for the 14th National Assembly.

100% of voters of VNU present at the Conference voted for confidence and approved the list of 02 candidates for the 14th National Assembly: Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Director of VNU Phung Xuan Nha and Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Vice Director of VNU Le Quan.

* It is known that recently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi organized a conference of voters' representatives to collect comments and trust in recommending candidates for the Hanoi People's Council, term XV, 2016-2021.

Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Party Committee member, Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received 100% trust to be nominated as a candidate for the Hanoi People's Council, term XV, 2016-2021.

According to Dantri
