Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading university in training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities. The University currently has 16 faculties, 12 research centers with over 12,000 students and trainees of all levels and training systems. In 1995, the University established the Department of Chinese Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies and conducted training from bachelor to doctoral levels in Chinese studies. Recently, the University and Wanzao University of Foreign Studies established the Taiwan Education Center with the functions of Chinese language training programs, organizing Taiwan education exhibitions, promoting Taiwan study abroad consulting, organizing the Chinese proficiency test (TOCFL), conducting seminars, Vietnamese-Taiwanese language-cultural activities and acting as a focal point connecting universities and Taiwan, seeking scholarship programs of the Taiwanese government to create study abroad opportunities for Vietnamese students.

Dr. Shin-Jen Chang also emphasized that Taipei University of Education highly values the cooperative relationship between the two schools and agreed with the proposals to further expand the cooperative relationship between the two sides in the coming time. She proposed a number of cooperative activities such as student and lecturer exchanges, implementing 2+3, 3+1 training programs, teaching Vietnamese at Taiwanese universities and teaching Chinese at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, etc. At the meeting, the two sides signed an official memorandum of cooperation to facilitate future cooperative activities.

Taipei National University of Education (NTUE) was founded 110 years ago. With a long history of education, NTUE is a prestigious and quality educational institution in Taipei, Taiwan. The school plays an important role in the development of education in Taiwan. The school has three faculties: the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the Faculty of Science. The school also has a Language Center that teaches Chinese with four courses each year: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
