Modern and traditional media: Experiences of Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany

In the current trend of global integration and information explosion, the media plays an important role, strongly influencing most areas of social life. New media have emerged, challenging the existence and development of traditional media. This discussion is a follow-up event to the two days of lively and open dialogue between Vietnamese and German journalists on November 4 and 5.

At the seminar, journalists from Germany and Vietnam will present the results and discuss the past two days, and discuss with students, lecturers and representatives of press agencies in Vietnam the role, function and importance of the media in society. Especially modern media, as well as the way to train journalists.
