Meeting former Youth Union officials: Youth comes back

Attending the program "March Meeting" were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dac Vinh (Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee); Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem (Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi National University); Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi (Party Committee Secretary, Rector of the University of Natural Sciences); Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Party Committee Secretary, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), former Youth Union officials of different periods and members and students of the two universities.

The program opened with performances: Exciting Youth, Flag and Proud Melody performed by members and students of the University of Natural Sciences and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

At the program, the delegates reviewed the heroic and glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of General Sciences, now the Hanoi National University. The delegates highly appreciated the initiative of the Youth Union of the two schools in organizing the meeting program for generations of Youth Union cadres in March. This shows respect for the past and this is also an opportunity to strengthen connections, share, and inspire generations of youth union members to promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, and contribute to the common development.

Former Youth Union officials shared a lot of information, reenacted stories about the history of the University Youth Union, the advantages, difficulties and activities of the Youth Union through the periods. They believed that the current generation of young people has many advantages, is very dynamic, creative, and sent many messages to the current generation of youth union members of the two schools such as: be dedicated and have a spirit of service and dedication; boldly propose research directions; choose jobs that are suitable to the characteristics, positions and aspirations of youth union members;...

Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi said: The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the University of Natural Sciences always support, agree with and highly appreciate the joint activities between the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the two member universities to organize the March Meeting program. This is a program with profound traditional educational significance, creating favorable conditions for generations of former Union officials to meet, exchange and share experiences in Union work through the periods. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi hopes that in the coming time, the Youth Union of the two schools will continue to organize more joint activities and make the "March Meeting" program an annual program.

On behalf of the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim said that the key tasks of the Youth Union organization are determined as: ideological education, fostering revolutionary ethics for today's youth, taking advantage of social networks to educate revolutionary ideals for youth; Focusing on training and supporting youth in many fields, further improving the quality of Youth Union cadres associated with scientific research, bringing the position of Hanoi National University in general, the University of Natural Sciences and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular to become a leading university in research.

Before the end of the program, the Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Natural Sciences and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities expressed his joy and emotion when attending the traditional meeting of former Youth Union cadres "March Meeting". Dr. Dao Sy Duc expressed his most sincere thanks for receiving the support of the Party Committee of the two schools; the teachers and former Youth Union cadres of all periods who took the time to attend the program. Dr. Dao Sy Duc sent his best wishes to the teachers and former Youth Union cadres and hoped that in the future, the teachers and former Youth Union cadres would always take the time to attend the meetings and exchanges between the youth of the two schools.

On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Tran Bach Hieu said that by attending the traditional meeting, meeting and listening to the stories shared by the seniors, the young generation today has more motivation to strive and advance in work and life. At the same time, the current generation of Youth Union cadres feels their responsibility to be worthy of the tradition as well as the expectations that the previous generation of Youth Union cadres have passed on.

The program of meeting generations of Union cadres through the periods "March Meeting" has truly become a practical activity for generations of Union cadres to exchange and share experiences in Union work and pass on the fire, enthusiasm, and add to the spirit of the youth of the two universities.
