Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 3793/ĐHQGHN-CTHSSV of the Director of Hanoi National University on considering and awarding the title "Outstanding Young Face of Hanoi National University" in 2012; in order to summarize the emulation movement of studying, working, scientific research, and moral training of students, graduate students, researchers, and young cadres; in preparation for considering and recognizing the title "Outstanding Young Face at the school level - 2012", the School Board requests the Heads of units to conduct the consideration according to the following standards and implementation progress:1. The title of Outstanding Young Face at the school level: awarded to students and young cadres with good political and moral qualities, a healthy lifestyle, actively contributing to social work, professional work, class work, union work, association work, having high prestige and influence in the collective, being respected by the collective and meeting one of the following requirements: a. Achieving excellent results in studying, researching, and working: - Students with an average study score of 3.60 or higher, no retakes in that school year and excellent training scores; - Students with difficult circumstances but with the spirit of overcoming difficulties or being exemplary class, youth union, or student association cadres, with an average study score of 3.20 to 3.59 and excellent training scores; (Students in difficult circumstances are specified in Circular No. 54/1998/TT-LT dated August 31, 1998 of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Training and Decision No. 09/2011/QD-TTg dated January 30, 2011 of the Prime Minister on promulgating poverty standards applicable for the period 2011 - 2015). - Graduate students who achieve a score of 3.60 or higher in subjects and have at least 01 article published in a national or international scientific journal. - Postgraduate students who achieve a score of 3.70 or higher in subjects and have at least 02 articles published in a national or international scientific journal. - Young cadres who have achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level or higher. b. Students who have won official individual prizes in excellent student competitions or Olympic competitions at the national, regional or international levels. c. Won official individual awards at national or ministerial level, central sector, VNU, province, centrally-run city in scientific research, culture, arts, and sports. Note: The title will not be awarded to students who graduated in the 2011-2012 school year. 2. The organizing units will select and send the list (
according to attached form) directly to the Office of Politics and Student Affairs and send via E-mail: trungnc1@gmail.com before November 22, 2011 (Thursday). The school will not consider cases where the application and list are not submitted in the correct form and within the prescribed time limit. Heads of units are requested to pay attention and direct and implement.
