The Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Daegu University (Korea) was signed on November 12, 2012.The main contents of the memorandum of understanding between the two sides are: Exchange of lecturers, researchers, interns, short-term study, undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Regarding course research, the two sides will jointly organize scientific seminars, share documents, and exchange scientific research information. In addition, in order to further promote the relationship of exchange and cooperation, enhance mutual understanding, the two sides agreed to send irregular delegations to visit and work. This agreement is valid for 5 years. Representatives of the two schools hope that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to expand their cooperative relationship in many aspects. In particular, Professor Byung Ouk So hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will coordinate to organize short-term courses on Vietnamese language and Vietnamese studies at Daegu University.

Daegu University has been established for 95 years. The school is famous for its training majors: Language, Law, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Public Relations, Art and Design, Education, Health Care... In 2010, the school was rated as one of the top 11 schools in terms of training quality in Korea. Currently, the school has a total of 600 professors and 15,000 students of all systems. In particular, the school has many scholarship support programs for international students.
