In order to perfect and unify the organizational structure and operation methods of the affiliated branches and associations, on the morning of November 4, 2012, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language held a ceremony to launch the first Union and Association of the Faculty.Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Mai Lan - Standing member of the School Youth Union, President of the School Student Association; Dr. Tran Nhat Chinh - Secretary of the Party Cell and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nam - Head of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language, along with teachers and many members of the Youth Union and Associations in the Faculty. At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Mai Lan represented the School Youth Union Executive Committee to read and present the decision to establish the Youth Union and Association of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language to comrade Tran Thi Thu - Secretary of the Youth Union and comrade Pham Hai Yen - President of the Youth Union. Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the Party Cell and the Faculty Board expressed their confidence in a new organization with dynamic and enthusiastic members, which will certainly create new steps forward in the Youth Union - Association movement, contributing to creating a new look for the Faculty.

With a tradition of nearly 45 years, the predecessor of the Faculty of Vietnamese Language, specializing in training Vietnamese Language and Culture for foreigners, since the 2010-2011 school year, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language has a new strategic mission of training Vietnamese Studies for Vietnamese students. Therefore, this is the first time the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language has a Youth Union and Association, including: one staff union and three student unions and associations. What is special is that after nearly 25 years, the Faculty's staff union has just been re-established. This launching ceremony marks an important milestone in the work of the Youth Union and Association and creates solidarity among the members of the Faculty, making the Youth Union and Association movement increasingly develop.
