In this competition, alongside athletes with prior experience, there were many who were participating for the first time. Despite registering and only training for two months, Hoang Thi Quynh Trang (Faculty of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) didn't hesitate to test herself in the ring. Trang remained enthusiastic despite having to cut weight and suffering several injuries after the competition."Although I didn't win a medal, I'm still very happy to have participated in the competition. I got to know my skill level so I can try harder in future competitions. Watching the matches of my peers makes me want to compete again."

Athlete Nguyen Thi Thu Hien (in the blue uniform) won the gold medal in the women's 60-63 kg weight class final.

Coach Ho Quang Hoa – Head Coach of the Humanities Vovinam Club – said:The club only had a mere two months to prepare for the tournament, coinciding with the final exam period for the Humanities students and a heatwave, yet the athletes still made an effort to responsibly participate in training. For a young club that has only been active for three years, this achievement is something to be proud of, as we overcame many strong teams with long-standing training programs such as the People's Security Academy, FPT University, etc., to win 4th place overall.”
