
The conference was attended by experts, researchers, managers in the field of intellectual property, and students from many universities.
In his opening remarks at the conference, Professor Nguyen Van Kim, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, emphasized that intellectual property (IP) has become one of the fundamental components of multilateral and bilateral economic cooperation programs, including economic institutions in which Vietnam participates. The process of deeper integration into the global economy has presented both opportunities and challenges for Vietnam in economic reform and promoting economic growth, in which IP plays a particularly important role.

In this context, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities places great importance on integrating scientific research with training activities. Through this, it not only encourages the creativity and learning abilities of students but also positively impacts the effectiveness of training and the effectiveness of service to society. In particular, scientific research on intellectual property is a new field of study and research direction that the University is especially interested in developing.

This year's Student Scientific Conference on Intellectual Property marks the sixth time the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has collaborated with the Vietnam Intellectual Property Office to organize it. This annual forum connects scientists, practitioners, and lecturers and students interested in intellectual property to work together towards promoting effective intellectual property enforcement in Vietnam in the context of international economic integration.

The conference organizers received 26 student research papers from major universities nationwide: the University of Science - VNU Hanoi, the National Economics University, Hanoi Law University, Hue University of Law, the Foreign Trade University, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi. The papers addressed a wide range of issues, with diverse approaches in the field of intellectual property rights (IPR), particularly those related to international economic integration.
At the end of the conference, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes, and 5 consolation prizes.
