Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading university in training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities. The university currently has 16 faculties, 12 research centers with over 10,000 students and trainees at all levels and training systems. In 1995, the university established the Department of Chinese Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies and conducted training from bachelor to doctoral levels in Chinese studies. Recently, the university and Wanzao University of Foreign Studies established the Taiwan Education Center with the functions of Chinese language training programs, organizing Taiwan education exhibitions, promoting Taiwan study abroad consulting, organizing the Chinese proficiency test (TOCFL), conducting seminars, Vietnamese-Taiwanese language-cultural activities and acting as a focal point connecting universities and Taiwan, seeking scholarship programs of the Taiwanese government to create study abroad opportunities for Vietnamese students.

Dr. Wann-Yih Wu said that Nanhua University highly values ​​the cooperative relationship between the two schools and agrees with the proposals to further expand the cooperative relationship between the two sides in the coming time. He proposed a number of cooperative activities such as student and lecturer exchanges, especially the implementation of the 2+2 training program. As planned, the program will have a duration of 138 credits, with an enrollment target of 20 to 50 students and target international students, with priority given to Vietnamese students. The Faculty of Tourism Studies will be the focal point for implementing the training program between Nanhua University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Nanhua University was founded in 1996 by donations from charitable activities that began in 1993. The school has five major academies: Educational Management, Arts, Science, Humanities and Technology. In particular, Nanhua University is one of the schools with a global system.
