Purpose and significance- The student union and student association will summarize and evaluate the basic contents of the 2011-2012 academic year's work plan, highlighting achievements, identifying shortcomings, and drawing lessons learned. - The reports should be concise, comprehensive, and include specific and abundant data; they should also include proposals, recommendations, and solutions for implementation in the future. - Units should introduce new, innovative features, effective models, and practical solutions in their work.2. Summary of content2.1. Regarding political and ideological education, ethics, and lifestyle for student union members: Emphasize the results of political activities at the beginning of the academic year, summarize the movement to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, aiming to build a disciplined and civilized school environment, and monitor the ideological developments among union members and students, etc. 2.2. Regarding support for student learning and scientific research: Emphasize the assessment of the role of the Youth Union and Student Association in supporting professional activities, scientific research, school discipline, etc. Introduce effective methods in accompanying students in supporting skills during the credit-based training process. 2.3. Regarding cultural, sports, and social activities: Evaluate the results through the organization of cultural and sports activities, the attraction and mobilization of union members and student association members to participate in the school's general activities, social activities, volunteer work, etc. 2.4. Regarding the work of building strong youth union branches and associations, and the Youth Union's participation in Party development: Focus on evaluating the role of youth union branches and associations; propose effective methods in youth union branch and association activities, managing union members, and classifying union members (by semester and academic year); evaluate the work of recommending outstanding union members to the Party, the role of student Party members, and outstanding union members who are eligible for Party membership... 2.5. Lessons learned and proposed directions for activities in the 2012-2013 academic year (main directions) 2.6. Self-assessment of emulation titles and proposed awards (criteria, number of collective and individual awards according to the school's Youth Union emulation guidelines)3. Report on operational results and recommendations for awards/commendations.- Report on the results of the 2011-2012 academic year and the application for commendation must be submitted to the Student Union Office before June 5th, 2011 (Tuesday). - The application for commendation includes: + Letter requesting commendation (list of commendations arranged in order of priority for the collectives and individuals nominated at each level, with confirmation from the Party Committee and the Faculty/Department Board) + Report on the achievements of the collectives and individuals nominated for commendation. The report must clearly and specifically state the roles that the collective (or individual) has undertaken. + Academic year performance scoring sheet of the Inter-branch Student Union and its affiliated branches (according to the attached template), with detailed explanations and illustrations. + Summary table of the results of the branch's member evaluation (according to the attached template)Download the document templates here.Note: The annual summary report requires a joint submission from each unit. Regarding awards, please separate the Youth Union and Student Association reports.4. Regulations on the classification of youth union branches4.1. For a Strong Youth Union Branch: - Has developed a written work plan for the academic year and submitted it to the higher authority; has implemented that plan effectively. - Organizes its members to fully participate in all mandatory activities for members; actively participates and achieves many accomplishments in optional activities of the University Youth Union and the Inter-branch Youth Union; successfully completes all tasks assigned by the University Youth Union and the Inter-branch Youth Union. - At least 2/3 of the total number of members are rated "Good" or higher. - The collection and submission of membership fees and the final reporting are ensured to be complete and on time. 4.2. For a Fair Youth Union Branch: - Has developed a written work plan for the academic year and submitted it to the higher authority; has basically implemented that plan. - Organizes its members to fully participate in all mandatory activities for members; participates in general movements and performs some tasks assigned by the University Youth Union and the Inter-branch Youth Union. - At least half of the total number of members are rated "Good" or higher. - The collection and submission of membership fees and the submission of summary reports are carried out fully. 4.3. For average-performing branches: - At least one-third of the total number of members are rated "Good" or higher. - Failure to complete the collection and submission of membership fees by the time of submitting the application for evaluation to the School Youth Union.5. Regulations regarding the number of groups and individuals nominated for awards.Below are the criteria for the Executive Committee of the Student Union/Association of the unit to organize the review and propose awards for the academic year each year: 5.1 Percentage of individuals proposed for awards at the School Youth Union level: - For strong student branches: a maximum of 2% of the total number of members of the branch - For good student branches: a maximum of 1% of the total number of members of the branch 5.2 Percentage of collectives proposed for awards at the School Youth Union level: units shall select and propose no more than 25% of the total number of student branches6. Ranking of units in emulation campaigns.Based on the unit's annual performance evaluation score sheet, and the conclusions of the School Youth Union's Inspection Committee and the School Youth Union's Organization and External Relations Committee, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union and the Secretariat of the School Student Association will review and decide on the recognition of the units' performance awards. The Standing Committee of the Youth Union and the Secretariat of the School Student Association request that all units promptly implement, develop, and complete the documents in section 3 and submit them to the School Youth Union Office on schedule. Units that fail to submit within the specified time will not be considered for awards or commendations.
