Reception of Kaohsiung University delegation

The delegation from National Kaohsiung University (Taiwan) led by President Hoang Anh Trung visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on May 11, 2012. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - President of the University - and leaders of the Faculty of Languages ​​and the Department of Han Nom received and worked with the delegation.At the meeting, the two sides discussed the content of cooperation between the two schools in order to gradually concretize the agreement on cooperation in exchanging lecturers and students. It is expected that in August 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will send Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Lan (Faculty of Linguistics) to teach Vietnamese for 1 year at National University of Kaohsiung, develop a Vietnamese language teaching program for students of National University of Kaohsiung, and develop a program to assess Vietnamese proficiency to international standards. At the same time, at the meeting, the leaders of the two schools also discussed the coordination of organizing a scientific conference next year. Previously, on March 30, 2012, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - President of the University visited and signed a cooperation agreement with National University of Kaohsiung on a number of areas of mutual interest, with a special focus on cooperation in developing the Vietnamese language industry. National Kaohsiung University includes: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Law, University of Science, University of Engineering, College of Management with bachelor's - master's - doctoral training programs.
