Won first prize in the 2012 Ho Chi Minh Thought Knowledge Contest.

On May 14, 2012, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Union, in coordination with the Youth Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized the "Understanding Ho Chi Minh's Thought" competition. The Vietnam Student Support and Development Center and the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hosted the program. Participating in the competition were seven universities/faculties under Vietnam National University, Hanoi: the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Natural Sciences, the University of Foreign Languages, the University of Economics, the University of Technology, the University of Education, and the Faculty of Law.I expect to see the following attendees: Ms. Vu Thanh Mai - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Union's School Youth Department, Vice President of the Vietnam Student Association; Mr. Tran Thanh Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Union's Propaganda Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Director of Hanoi National University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities... The participating teams went through four rounds of competition: greetings, obstacle course, talent, and public speaking. In the final results, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won first place; second place went to the University of Foreign Languages, third place was awarded to the Faculty of Law, and the remaining teams received consolation prizes. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities also achieved the highest score in the public speaking round. The competition was one of the practical activities commemorating the 122nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth. At the same time, it is also one of the typical activities that contributes to making the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology a regular and continuous task of the Youth Union and Student Association, closely linked to the implementation of revolutionary action movements of young people.
