The Faculty of Management Science expresses its gratitude to Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Teacher Pham Xuan Hang.

Attending the meeting were Dr. Vu Hong Phong, Head of the Human Resource Management Department, Faculty of Human Resource Management, University of Labour and Social Affairs; Mr. Phan Son, Director of HRD Consulting Group; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Quan, Director of the Institute for Enterprise Development, University of Business and Technology. These are close collaborators who have participated in research and teaching with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Hang and the Faculty of Management Science.

The meeting was also attended by a large number of teachers and lecturers from the Faculty of Management Science, along with generations of students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates who were students of Associate Professor, Doctor, and Meritorious Teacher Pham Xuan Hang.

Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, Head of the Faculty of Management Science, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang.

Expressing gratitude for the contributions of Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Teacher Pham Xuan Hang to the research and training career of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general and the Faculty of Management Science in particular, Associate Professor, Doctor Dao Thanh Truong (Head of the Faculty of Management Science) stated: "In our minds, he is a crucial pillar. His contributions and guidance have spanned the entire history of the faculty's development from its establishment to the present day. The journey of development from the Department of Management Science, based on the merger of two departments, Social Management (Philosophy) and Science and Technology Management (Faculty of Sociology), to its development into the Faculty of Management Science, with him as its first head."

"The Faculty of Management Science, which initially had only one undergraduate program in Social Management (now Bachelor of Management Science), has, under Professor's guidance, added a Bachelor of Public Policy program (currently preparing for enrollment), a Science and Technology Management program, and is the first in Vietnam to offer a PhD in Science and Technology Management. Without his contributions, the Faculty of Management Science would have hardly developed to its current state," said Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong.

On behalf of all faculty members, undergraduate students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong extended his best wishes for good health and well-being to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Hang and expressed his hope that she will continue to accompany the Faculty in all future endeavors to build and develop the Faculty of Management Science.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Management Science, is sharing her insights at the meeting.

Representing the department where he worked and managed, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Head of the Faculty of Management Science, shared: "He was truly a respected teacher and father figure in the Faculty of Management Science. All generations of students will always remember him, the one who guided and instilled in the younger generation a passion for the profession and their work."

"Having had the opportunity to meet him, I truly felt that he was a wonderful teacher, grandfather, husband, and father. This farewell is only temporary; with his intellect, he will continue to monitor and support the department and faculty, conveying his feelings and responsibilities regarding the teaching profession," said Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi.

Associate Professor Pham Ngoc Thanh shared:

As a friend and colleague, Associate Professor Pham Ngoc Thanh shared: Associate Professor Pham Xuan Hang is a dedicated teacher who is passionate about the department. From the difficult early days of its establishment to the present, he has always been involved and concerned with all activities. His guidance and care have motivated all the teachers in the department to participate in building and developing the department. Gradually, the department has become well-organized, and the younger generation has matured. This is thanks to the efforts of the teachers, and especially important is his contribution.

Using the metaphor of "a gift of happiness" to represent the pillar of the professor's life with his family, his department, and generations of students and colleagues, Ms. Hoang To Hang expressed her deepest gratitude to Associate Professor, Doctor, and Meritorious Teacher Pham Xuan Hang. He was not only a teacher, a friend, and a brother who contributed to the training of countless generations of students and trainees who have become valuable members of society.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Quan (Director of the Institute for Enterprise Development, University of Business and Technology), a close associate of the Faculty of Management Science, also sent his best wishes to Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang.

At the meeting, Dr. Vu Hong Phong (University of Labour and Social Affairs) also recalled the early days when he was invited to collaborate with the Faculty of Management Science in 2014, which was his first meeting with Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang. "To this day, I have had the opportunity to attend many seminars, workshops, and faculty activities with him. Through those events, I have many fond memories with him. I have learned a great deal from his experience in scientific and managerial expertise, and I feel that he is a very dedicated professional," Dr. Vu Hong Phong shared.

Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Teacher Pham Xuan Hang delivered a speech.

Thanking her colleagues and friends for their affection, Associate Professor, Doctor, and Meritorious Teacher Pham Xuan Hang shared, "For me personally, today is a joyful day. I am happy to have all my friends, colleagues, students, former trainees, and external collaborators involved in training with the department come to meet, congratulate, and share with me."

Although I am granted leave according to government regulations, I will continue my research, teaching, and writing to reflect on past experiences and contribute to the future development of the department and the university.

At the meeting, Associate Professor, Doctor, and Meritorious Teacher Pham Xuan Hang autographed her newly published scientific work for the faculty members, colleagues, and students.
