Faculty of Management Science expresses gratitude to Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang

Attending the meeting were Dr. Vu Hong Phong, Head of Human Resource Management Department, Faculty of Human Resource Management, University of Labor and Social Affairs; Mr. Phan Son, Consulting Director of HRD Group; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Manh Quan, Director of the Institute of Enterprise Development, University of Business and Technology. These are close collaborators who participate in research and teaching with Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang and the Faculty of Management Science.

The meeting was also attended by teachers and lecturers in the Faculty of Management Science, along with generations of students, graduate students, and researchers who are students of Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang's courses.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, Head of the Faculty of Management Science, expressed his gratitude to Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang.

Expressing gratitude for the contributions of Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang to the research and training career of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general and the Faculty of Management Science in particular, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong (Head of the Faculty of Management Science) said: "In our minds, he is an important pillar. His contributions and guidance have been throughout the history of the faculty's development since its establishment. The development journey from the Department of Management Science, on the basis of combining the two departments of Social Management (Philosophy) and the Department of Science and Technology Management (Faculty of Sociology) to the development into the Faculty of Management Science, with him as the first head."

"The Faculty of Management Science, from having only one Bachelor of Social Management program (now Bachelor of Management Science), under his direction, has added a Bachelor of Public Policy program to prepare for enrollment, an additional Science and Technology Management program, and is the first place in Vietnam to train PhDs in Science and Technology Management. Without his contributions, it would be difficult for the Faculty of Management Science to develop as it is today." Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong said.

On behalf of all staff, students, graduate students and postgraduates of the faculty, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong sent his best wishes for health and happiness to Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang and hoped that he would continue to accompany the faculty in all the construction and development of the Faculty of Management Science in the future.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Management Science, is sharing at the meeting.

Representing the department where he worked and managed, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Head of the Faculty of Management Science, shared: "He is truly a teacher, a respected father in the family of the Faculty of Management Science. All generations of students always remember him, the one who guided and brought to the younger generation a passion for the profession and work."

"Having the chance to meet you, I can feel that you are a wonderful teacher, grandfather, husband, and father. Today's farewell is only temporary. With your intelligence, you will continue to follow and accompany the department and faculty, conveying your feelings and responsibilities for the teaching profession," said Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Ngoc Thanh shared

As a friend and colleague, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Ngoc Thanh shared: Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang is a teacher who is dedicated to the faculty and department. From the first difficult days of establishment until now, he has been close to and interested in all activities. With his guidance and attention, he has encouraged all teachers in the faculty to participate in the development of the faculty. Gradually, the faculty has become more organized, the younger generation has also grown up, that is the effort of the teachers, in which the most important is the contribution of the teacher.

Comparing the image of the "gift of happiness" as the teacher's pillar to his family, to the faculty, to generations of students and colleagues, Ms. Hoang To Hang expressed her deepest gratitude to Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang. He is a teacher, a friend, and a brother who has contributed to training many generations of students and trainees who are useful to society.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Quan (Director of the Institute of Enterprise Development, University of Business and Technology), a companion of the Faculty of Management Science, also sent his best wishes to Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang.

At the meeting, Dr. Vu Hong Phong (University of Labor and Social Affairs) also remembered the early days when he was invited to collaborate with the Faculty of Management Science in 2014, that was the first time he met Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Hang. "Up to now, I have been able to follow him to attend many seminars, workshops, and faculty activities. Through those sessions, I have many memories with him. I learned a lot of experience in scientific expertise and management from him and felt that he is a person who is passionate about his profession", Dr. Vu Hong Phong shared.

Thanking the affection of colleagues and friends for her, Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Artist Pham Xuan Hang shared, "For me personally, today is a happy day. Happy to have all my friends, colleagues, students, former students, and external collaborators who participated in training with the faculty come to meet, congratulate and share."

Although I am allowed to rest according to the State's regulations, I will continue to research, teach, and write books to reflect on the past, as well as contribute to the development of the faculty and the School in the future.

At the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang signed her newly published scientific work for teachers in the faculty, colleagues and students.
