On the morning of July 22, 2017, Professor Pham Quang Minh personally visited and encouraged the student volunteer team of the university's youth in Mai Lap commune, Cho Moi district, Bac Kan province.

This was the first time Principal Pham Quang Minh visited and encouraged the school's volunteer team. The meeting left many positive impressions on the students.

In Mai Lap, Professor Pham Quang Minh shared his understanding of the difficulties faced by the local people. Despite being the most remote and challenging area in Cho Moi district, Bac Kan province, the local authorities have shown great concern and provided assistance, arranging convenient accommodation and meals for the university's students.

The Rector, Professor Pham Quang Minh, on behalf of the University's Youth Union, presented 5 computer sets to the People's Committee of Mai Lap Commune.

Professor Pham Quang Minh reminded the students that this was a valuable opportunity for them to gain experience. They needed to immerse themselves in the activities, to share the difficulties of the local people, and at the same time, raise their awareness of the importance of training and connecting their learning skills with the local reality.

"These 24 students are like ambassadors, bringing the image of the Faculty of Humanities to all regions of the country. But you need to remember, the path you build today is valuable, but what is infinitely more valuable is the path in the hearts of the people," Professor Pham Quang Minh advised.

Professor Pham Quang Minh also emphasized that, in the future, the University's Youth Union needs to think of more new models to connect Mai Lap with the University's Youth Union.

In the future, humanities students can continue to return and contribute to the development of their hometown, Mai Lap.
