Signing a cooperation agreement with the Government Office (Korea)

The signing ceremony took place on April 21, 2009 between the representative of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector and the representative of the Institute for Women's Policy Development of Chungcheongnam Province, Korea (VPCP) - Prof. Dr. Kim Kyung Suk - Director.

The purpose of this agreement is to establish a cooperative system between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Office of the Government to share information and knowledge, conduct joint research to contribute to the development of strategic policies, and create conditions for relevant parties to learn about issues of Korean-Vietnamese international marriage families and immigrant families.

In implementing this agreement, the two sides will conduct exchanges and research cooperation in the fields of training program exploitation, policy development, academic research on multicultural society and foreign residents, international marriage families. Specific activities include: conducting joint research and study, organizing seminars; supporting each other in human resources for research; exchanging research reports and publications; jointly organizing cultural activities related to multicultural society, international marriage families and marriage migration families; coordinating the implementation of other scientific activities as agreed by the two sides.
