Signed a cooperation agreement with the Office of the Government of South Korea.

The signing ceremony took place on April 21, 2009, between Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Professor Dr. Kim Kyung Suk, Director of the Chungcheongnam Province Women's Policy Development Institute, South Korea (Government Office).

The signing ceremony took place on April 21, 2009, between Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Professor Dr. Kim Kyung Suk, Director of the Chungcheongnam Province Women's Policy Development Institute, South Korea (Government Office).

The purpose of this agreement is to establish a collaborative system between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Office of the Government to share information and knowledge, conduct joint research to contribute to the development of strategic policies, and facilitate the understanding of relevant parties regarding international marriages between Korea and Vietnam and immigrant families.

Under this agreement, the two parties will conduct exchanges and research cooperation in the areas of training program development, policy development, academic research on multicultural societies and foreign residents, and international marriage families. Specific activities include: conducting joint research and study, organizing seminars; providing mutual support in terms of personnel for research; exchanging research reports and publications; jointly organizing cultural activities related to multicultural societies, international marriage families, and immigrant marriage families; and coordinating other scientific activities as agreed upon by both parties.
