Signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Montana.

On April 21, 2009, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Montana, USA. Representing the University of Montana at the signing ceremony was Professor George M. Dennison, its President.

On April 21, 2009, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Montana, USA. Representing the University of Montana at the signing ceremony was Professor George M. Dennison, its President.

Accordingly, cooperation activities between the two sides will focus on academic exchange, joint participation in projects and training programs of mutual interest, exchange of students, lecturers, and experts, and exchange of scientific documents and information. The agreement is valid for 5 years.

This is the 10th US partner with which the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has established a collaborative relationship. Within the Vietnamese university system, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the first partner of the University of Montana.

During the meeting, both sides also discussed many activities that the two universities could cooperate on in the future, such as: attending a conference on "Population Aging and the Issue of the Elderly in Society" in September 2009 in the US, organizing Summer Programs, organizing seminars on contemporary Vietnamese issues, cooperating in developing a master's program in American Studies, and receiving students from the University of Montana to research and teach English at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities...
