USSH and FPT University collaborate in training and research in science and technology management.

On June 8, 2017, Professor Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh (Rector of FPT University) officially signed a cooperation agreement in the field of training and research in Science and Technology Management (S&T) between the two institutions.

Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will collaborate in developing and implementing postgraduate training programs in Science and Technology Management; and training and professional development programs in Science and Technology Management for target groups under the training and development responsibilities of FPT University. The two sides will cooperate in organizing scientific research activities in the field of Science and Technology Management by proposing and jointly participating in scientific research projects, scientific conferences, thematic presentations, and scientific activities. In addition, the two universities will exchange lecturers to carry out collaborative training activities and jointly compile and publish teaching materials, guides, and reference materials on Science and Technology Management.

Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh (Rector of FPT University) and Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) signed the official cooperation agreement between the two institutions.

The Faculty of Management Science is the focal point for implementing cooperation activities with FPT University. The Faculty currently trains Bachelor's degree students in Management Science with four specializations: Social Policy, Science and Technology Management, Human Resource Management, and Intellectual Property Management.CAlong with the establishment of the Department of Public Policy last academic year, the Faculty is developing an additional undergraduate program in Public Policy.

Regarding postgraduate training, The Faculty is a pioneer in the country in training Master's students in Science and Technology Management since 1999, and has trained over 100 students to date; it has also been training PhD students in Science and Technology Management since 2013 with nearly 60 doctoral candidates.

In addition, the Faculty regularly organizes short-term courses for external organizations on topics such as Intellectual Property Law, Policy Analysis and Planning Skills, Brand Building and Development Skills, Intellectual Property Management Skills, Risk Management Skills, Quality Management Skills, Patent Information Exploitation Skills, Human Resource Management Skills in Enterprises, Conflict of Interest and Conflict Management, etc.

The FPT University leadership invited Professor Pham Quang Minh to perform the ceremony for distinguished guests visiting the university.

Established in 2006, FPT University aims to train and provide high-quality human resources in Information Technology, Economics, Fine Arts, and other fields for domestic and international businesses. What sets FPT University apart from other universities is its close collaboration with businesses, linking education with practical experience, research and development, and modern technologies.

On the same day, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, led by Professor Pham Quang Minh, held a working session, visited, and exchanged experiences with the leaders of FPT University.
