USSH and FPT University cooperate in training and research in science and technology management

Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will coordinate to develop and implement postgraduate training programs on science and technology management; training programs, and professional training in science and technology management for subjects under the training and fostering tasks of FPT University. The two sides will coordinate to organize scientific research activities in the field of science and technology management through proposing and jointly participating in scientific research topics, scientific seminars, thematic reporting sessions, and scientific activities. In addition, the two schools will exchange lecturers to carry out training cooperation activities and coordinate to compile and publish teaching materials, guidance documents and reference materials on science and technology management.

Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh (Principal of FPT University) and Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Principal of University of Social Sciences and Humanities) signed an official cooperation document between the two units.

The focal point for implementing cooperation activities with FPT University is assigned to the Faculty of Management Science. The Faculty is currently carrying out the task of training Bachelors in Management Science with 04 training majors: Social Policy, Science and Technology Management, Human Resource Management, Intellectual Property Management.CAlong with the establishment of the Department of Public Policy in the last academic year, the Faculty is building an additional bachelor's program in Public Policy.

Regarding postgraduate training, The Faculty is a pioneer in the country in training Masters in Science and Technology Management since 1999, and has trained more than 100 students to date; training PhDs in Science and Technology Management since 2013 with nearly 60 PhD students.

In addition, the Faculty also regularly organizes short-term courses for units outside the school on Law and Intellectual Property, Policy Analysis and Planning Skills, Brand Building and Development Skills, Intellectual Property Management Skills; Risk Management Skills; Quality Management Skills; Patent Information Exploitation Skills; Human Resource Management Skills in Enterprises; Conflict of Interest and Conflict Management;...
