Signing MOU with International Training School (USA)

On November 14, 2018, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Training School (USA). Also attending the signing ceremony were representatives of the Faculty of Anthropology and the Office of Cooperation and Development.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh exchanged a memorandum of understanding with Dr. Sophia Howlett

At the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh sent a warm welcome to Dr. Sophia Howlett (SIT Principal) and students of the School of International Training. The Principal briefly introduced the majors at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, including basic sciences such as Philosophy, Literature, History... and highly applicable majors such as Management Science, Social Work, Tourism Studies. The Principal hopes that in the future, the two schools can cooperate in many fields.

In response, Dr. Sophia Howlett briefly reviewed some information about the School of International Training (SIT). Established in 1964, SIT is a higher education institution affiliated with World Learning, a non-profit international education and development organization. SIT offers training, master's degrees and postgraduate certificates in many fields related to international education and sustainable development. Dr. Sophia Howlett expressed her confidence in the cooperation with a prestigious university such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The leaders of both sides signed an official memorandum of cooperation and agreed to immediately launch the Summer Internship Program for SIT students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Accordingly, SIT will send students to participate in the Program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will provide lecturers to teach, guide and support SIT students in conducting research; send students and lecturers to participate in SIT's academic and extracurricular activities. Both sides will collaborate to organize scientific seminars; exchange students and scholars; exchange information and learning materials, etc.
