
Professor Pham Quang Minh exchanges memorandum of understanding with Dr. Sophia Howlett.
At the signing ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh extended a warm welcome to Dr. Sophia Howlett (Rector of SIT) and the students of the International Training School. The Rector briefly introduced the academic programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, including basic sciences such as Philosophy, Literature, History… and also highly applied fields such as Management Science, Social Work, and Tourism Studies. The Rector expressed hope that in the future, the two universities could cooperate in many areas.
In response, Dr. Sophia Howlett provided some information about the School of International Training (SIT). Founded in 1964, SIT is a higher education institution affiliated with World Learning, a non-profit international education and development organization. SIT offers master's degrees and postgraduate certificates in various fields related to international education and sustainable development. Dr. Sophia Howlett expressed confidence in the collaborative relationship with a prestigious university like the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Leaders from both sides signed a formal cooperation agreement and agreed to immediately launch the Summer Internship Program for SIT students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Accordingly, SIT will send students to participate in the program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will provide lecturers to teach, guide, and support SIT students in conducting research; and send students and lecturers to participate in SIT's academic and extracurricular activities.
