Lunch Box Club No. 48: Happy Lunch

The games were coordinated by Mr. Duong Tat Thanh - Training Department specialist and Etienne Mahler - student of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language.
At the start of the game, the members were divided into two teams competing against each other to overcome three rounds. In the first round, the two teams had to answer 10 questions in English on various topics. Each correct answer would be awarded 1 point, with the same number of points deducted for each incorrect answer. After the first round, the two teams were tied at 2-2.

The next round brought a lot of laughter with a special game. Each team would send one person to step forward with their back to the screen. The remaining members would have to describe the projected image by speaking, singing, dancing, etc., but without mentioning the answer. The images of familiar brands were described in the simplest and most vivid English possible, but still caused a lot of difficulty for the participants.

In the final round, there were 6 questions with suggested answers in the form of numbers. The player's task was to answer each question in turn to find the mysterious topic. Finally, the team of Mr. Nguyen Chi Trung and Mr. Pham Huy Cuong (Department of Student Affairs) found the final answer: the topic was about Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Principal of the School.

The games ended with the joyful laughter of the members. Not only did it bring comfort after stressful hours of studying and working, the activity also created opportunities for staff and students to practice thinking and communicating in English; besides, they learned more interesting information about the School and VNU.
