Signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Education and Training of Ha Giang province.

During the meeting, leaders from both sides signed a memorandum of understanding on training cooperation. Accordingly, the University will accept two Chinese students from Ha Giang province each year to study for a Bachelor's degree in Vietnamese Studies or Linguistics. These students are selected within the framework of the educational cooperation program between Ha Giang province and Guangxi and Yunnan provinces of China. The cooperation between the University and the Ha Giang Department of Education is implemented based on the bilateral cooperation agreement between Hanoi National University and Ha Giang province, officially signed in 2011.

Mr. Nguyen The Binh (Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Giang province) and Vice Principal Hoang Anh Tuan signed a memorandum of cooperation on training.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen The Binh stated that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a highly reputable university with a long tradition of training in social sciences and humanities, and has experience in implementing many collaborative training programs with localities nationwide. Therefore, cooperation between the University and the Department of Education and Training of Ha Giang province will bring positive results in improving the quality of human resources in the province. In the future, Ha Giang province also requested the University's support in training officials in the fields of Social Work and Tourism and Travel Service Management. In the future, both sides also have great potential to strengthen cooperation in postgraduate training or implement short-term training courses for officials of Ha Giang province.

Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan also expressed his pleasure that the University has the opportunity to cooperate with and support Ha Giang province in the training of cadres. The Vice Rector also hoped that the two sides would maintain a close relationship, based on coordinating the review and assessment of the province's human resource needs to develop training content that is consistent with Ha Giang's development plans and goals. With a team of leading scientists in many fields, the University hopes to strengthen cooperation in the areas of scientific research and policy consulting for leaders and people of Ha Giang province on many issues: livelihoods, ethnic groups, tourism development, social development, cultural preservation and development, and promoting endogenous strengths for development… Transferring and applying scientific and technological knowledge to local development is also an important direction of the University's activities in the present and future.
