Closing Ceremony of the Korean Language Course for Outstanding Employees of Samsung Electronics Vietnam – Thai Nguyen

Attending the closing ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University), and teachers from the Department of Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies; on behalf of Samsung Electronics Vietnam-Thai Nguyen was Mr. Bae IL Hwan (Deputy General Director).

On behalf of the teaching staff, Dr. Le Thi Thu Giang (Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities) presented the summary report: the course had 16 students and lasted 13 weeks, from March 11th to June 12th, 2019. Each day consisted of an average of 10 hours of study in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Throughout the learning and training process, the students made great efforts and successfully completed all requirements. Many students achieved high scores in the tests and exams. The teaching staff hopes that after the course, the students will further develop their Korean language skills to achieve greater success in their lives and careers.

On behalf of the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to Samsung Electronics for their trust and preference in choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as the training center for its outstanding employees in Korean language for many years. The University hopes that Samsung Electronics will continue to choose it as a training partner in the future. Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan also expressed his admiration for the results achieved by the trainees. He hopes that through improving their Korean language skills, the trainees can learn more about Korean culture, country, and people, using this as a foundation for their work. Furthermore, trainees wishing to further enhance their skills can request additional training courses from the University.

On behalf of Samsung Electronics, Mr. Bae IL Hwan highly appreciated the extensive experience of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in training. The Group has collaborated with the University to organize four training courses with 58 participants. Many of the University's trainees have been and are currently working at Samsung Electronics with high efficiency. After returning to the company, the trainees have applied what they learned from their teachers very well. He hoped that in the future, the cooperation between the University and the Group would become even stronger.

Student Bui Duy Hai, on behalf of the class, expressed gratitude to the corporation and the instructors of the course.
