During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Faculty of Oriental Studies is one of the leading research and training centers for Chinese studies in Vietnam. Each year, the university welcomes nearly 500-600 Chinese students. Many Chinese graduates from the university have become experts in Vietnamese language and culture, as well as ambassadors and diplomats in Vietnam. The Rector expressed hope that the two universities could implement practical cooperation in the future.
In response, Professor Zhou Jianhua expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He stated that Huzhou University is currently seeking avenues for academic exchange and student interaction with universities in Vietnam, including the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. With its strengths in business and engineering, Huzhou University wishes to cooperate with the social sciences and humanities faculties of Vietnam. Some areas of collaborative training he proposed include rural tourism and sustainable economic development. He also invited experts and scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to attend a conference on green development in the Asia-Pacific region at Huzhou University in July 2020.

Professor Pham Quang Minh welcomed Professor Zhou Jianhua's ideas and suggested that the two sides maintain regular contact and exchange more specific ideas in the future. The Cooperation and Development Department will be the university's point of contact.

Huzhou University was founded in 1958 and is located in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The university has approximately 20,000 undergraduate students, 500 graduate students and researchers, and 600 international students. Its programs primarily focus on business, commerce, electronics engineering, and processing.
