The handover ceremony for students of the 27th cohort of the National Defense and Security Education program.

On August 4, 2018, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, together with the Center for National Defense and Security Education, held a ceremony to welcome students of the 27th cohort of the National Defense and Security Education course right on the university campus.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the Center for National Defense and Security Education were Mr. Tang Tai Hoa (Deputy Director), Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thang (Head of Training and Student Management Department), and other officers and lecturers of the Center. On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department). 1,635 students will participate in the 27th course, which will run from August 4th, 2018 to August 31st, 2018 at Hoa Lac.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his joy and emotion at being faced with a "team" full of youthful enthusiasm. The Rector also hoped that the students would always be united, determined to overcome all difficulties in the new environment, and strive to excel in their studies to complete the course of study.

On behalf of the Center for National Defense and Security Education, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thang received the students of the 27th cohort and briefly introduced the curriculum of the National Defense and Security Education course. In addition, the Lieutenant Colonel also highly appreciated the attention of the school's leadership to the students in organizing the handover ceremony in a very solemn and serious manner.

Representing the "new recruits," student Trinh Minh Quang (Platoon Leader of Platoon 1, Company 11) delivered a speech pledging to diligently fulfill the regulations and tasks of the course.
