Militia training in 2018

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim believed that the militiamen would successfully complete the training course requirements because this force was selected from the staff of each school. The militiamen of the two schools, together with other forces in the national defense and security system, will further promote their strength and intelligence to fulfill their duties to the people and the Fatherland, contributing to the activities of protecting political security and national defense.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hoang Linh emphasized that the 2018 self-defense training session of the two schools is very meaningful because it is close to July 27, the day the whole country turns to the soldiers who sacrificed their blood and bones for the cause of protecting and building the Fatherland. As young cadres and lecturers at the units, the militia and self-defense force has more conditions to promote and spread the new awareness and knowledge equipped through this training session in their working positions.

Over the years, the Military Command of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Natural Sciences have had effective coordination in training and received trust and high appreciation from the Military Command of Thanh Xuan District. The militia and self-defense forces of the two schools always uphold the spirit of seriousness, compliance with regulations, study and training discipline, ensuring safety of people and weapons, striving to achieve high results in the final exam. Through annual training sessions, the core militia and self-defense forces of the two schools are reinforced with new ideas, awareness and knowledge of national security and defense, as well as equipped with combat skills from professional officers.

The training session will take place over 10 days in two forms: training on regulations, orders, updated knowledge on the national security situation in the new situation and training on the field on basic and advanced contents with the self-defense force. At the end of the training session, the self-defense force of the two schools will participate in the Sports Festival organized by the Thanh Xuan District Military Command.
