Militia training in 2018

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Professor Nguyen Van Kim expressed his confidence that the militia members would successfully complete the training course, as they were selected from the staff of each school. He stated that the self-defense forces of the two schools, along with other forces in the national defense and security system, would further enhance their strength and intelligence to fulfill their duties to the people and the nation, contributing to political, security, and defense activities.

Associate Professor Vu Hoang Linh emphasized that the 2018 self-defense training course at the two schools was very meaningful because it coincided with the upcoming July 27th, the day the whole country remembers the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting and building the Fatherland. As young officers and lecturers at the units, the militia force has even more opportunities to develop and spread the new awareness and knowledge acquired through this training course in their respective positions.

Over the years, the Military Command of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Natural Sciences have effectively coordinated their training efforts and received trust and high praise from the Military Command of Thanh Xuan District. The militia forces of both universities consistently uphold a serious and disciplined spirit, adhering to regulations and training standards, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment, and striving for high achievements in final examinations. Through annual training sessions, the core militia forces of both universities have been strengthened with new national defense and security ideologies, awareness, and knowledge, as well as acquiring additional combat skills from professional officers.

The training course lasted 10 days and consisted of two parts: training on regulations, orders, and updated knowledge on the national security and defense situation in the new context, and field training on basic and advanced content for the self-defense forces. At the end of the training course, the self-defense forces of the two schools will participate in the Sports Festival organized by the Thanh Xuan District Military Command.
