2012 Training and Counseling Day

In accordance with the 2012-2013 academic year plan and to enhance counseling and training support activities for students, as well as to promote coordination and collaboration among functional departments and organizations in this work, the University is organizing the 2012 Counseling and Training Support Day.

1. Objectives

- Strengthen communication activities among faculty, staff, and especially students of the University regarding general counseling and training support, and the activities of the Counseling and Training Support Team (CASA) in particular. Introduce the main activities of CASA to students through direct activities within the framework of Counseling and Training Support Day to promote demand and enhance student initiative in accessing counseling and training support activities provided by the University. - Promote coordination and collaboration between functional departments and student organizations in counseling and training support for students, as well as student participation in these activities; strengthen connections with businesses and organizations outside the University to both mobilize resources for counseling and support activities for students and create opportunities for students to access the realities of the labor market.

4. Theme and content of activities

4.1. TopicThe 2012 Counseling and Training Support Day had the theme "Difference and Action." This theme is the core value of the counseling and training support activities carried out in the school during the 2012-2013 academic year.4.2. Activity ContentThrough seminars, forums, games, and training sessions, the following activities will be implemented in parallel: - Activity 1: Career map and choosing approaches to the labor market - Activity 2: Report on salary surveys in 2011 and 2012 and suggestions for social science and humanities students - Activity 3: Understanding debate - Activity 4: Overcoming "fear" when entering the business environment - Activity 5: What employers think or the "silliness" in job applications - Activity 6: How to study? How to get a job after graduation.

5. Coordinating units

- Vietnam Youth to Debate Program: Ms. Vu My Hanh – Program Manager - Icando Company: Mr. Hoang Trong Nghia – Training Director - AMA English Academy – Cau Giay Branch: Ms. Nguyen Thi Chuc – Deputy Director. - F-Club Group (FPT): Ms. Pham Thu Thuy – Group Manager and Mr. Nguyen Trong Minh. - Vinatest Independent Survey and Evaluation Organization: Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong – Executive Director. The Training Counseling and Support Day is an activity aimed at attracting the attention and participation of a large number of students so that they can proactively, directly, and diversely receive the content. The school requests that the leaders of the faculties and departments provide specific guidance so that students in their units participate voluntarily and actively. The Youth Union and the Student Association of the School should strengthen propaganda and organization to encourage members to participate enthusiastically. Functional departments and the Center for Journalism and Communication will closely coordinate with the Organizing Committee to ensure the successful implementation of this work.
