On the morning of November 24, 2012, the International Conference on Training, Research and Application of Psychology in the Context of International Integration was held in the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
On the morning of November 24, 2012, the International Conference on Training, Research and Application of Psychology in the Context of International Integration was held in the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.Attending the workshop were Dr. Trinh Ngoc Thach (Vice Chairman of the Committee on Culture, Education, Youth and Children of the National Assembly), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Phu (Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Association of Psychology and Education), Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University), Prof. Dr. Odette Lescarret (Coordinator of the Master's Program in Psychology, University of Toulouse - Le Mirail), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Khanh Ha (Head of the Department of Psychology), domestic and international psychology scholars, as well as faculty members, postgraduate students, researchers, undergraduate students, and alumni of the Psychology Department. The workshop provided an opportunity for domestic and international scholars to exchange experiences, insights, and new research on prominent socio-psychological issues in Vietnam and around the world today. This is also an opportunity for alumni to express their gratitude to their teachers, and for students, graduate students, and researchers to listen, learn, and draw lessons for themselves, enhancing their knowledge and understanding for future research. In his opening speech, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh affirmed, “Over the past 15 years, the Department of Psychology has continuously developed and made increasingly important contributions to the overall development of the university and the field of psychology in Vietnam. The Department has achieved proud accomplishments in training, scientific research, and staff development. The Department's cooperative relationships have continuously expanded and achieved effective results, contributing to raising the position of the Department and the university both domestically and internationally.” Speaking at the conference, Dr. Trinh Ngoc Thach affirmed: “Psychology plays an extremely important role, contributing mainly to the education of knowledge and personality for people, an extremely important component of the modern socio-economic system.” Following the opening ceremony, delegates held discussions in subcommittees on the afternoon of November 24, 2012, and conducted a site visit on November 25, 2012.
