On November 26, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Korea University of Cultural Heritage signed a cooperation agreement, marking an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two universities.The cooperation agreement between the two sides focuses on key activities such as: exchange of lecturers and students; coordination in organizing research, seminars, scientific conferences, and training; and exchange of scientific documents. At the signing ceremony, both sides also discussed current and long-term cooperation programs, including: joint research, restoration, preservation, and conservation of cultural relics in both countries; and research on the traditional cultures of Vietnam and South Korea.

Korea Cultural Heritage University is a key institution for training and providing human resources in the field of cultural heritage management and education on traditional Korean culture. The university's academic programs include: archaeology, traditional architecture, traditional landscape architecture, traditional arts and crafts, conservation science, and more.
