On March 1st, 2018, Professor Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), along with representatives from the Faculty of Information and Library Science and the Office of Cooperation and Development, received and worked with a delegation from Sage Publishing, led by Ms. Rosalia da Garcia (CEO).

During the meeting, representatives from both sides discussed connecting high-quality information databases to support research and teaching activities for faculty, lecturers, and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Ms. Rosalia da Garcia provided a detailed introduction to the university staff about the advantages and benefits of the "Sage research methods" electronic database program in the field of social sciences and humanities. She affirmed that the outstanding features of "Sage research methods" will bring significant advantages to the university in research and teaching.

On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his gratitude to SAGE Publishing House and pledged to explore and consider the possibility of deeper cooperation between the two parties. The Rector stated that the University is striving to promote international publications, increase the number of articles published in ISI and Scopus-listed journals, and improve the content and international scope of the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University hopes to receive assistance and support from SAGE experts in the field of international publishing.
