
Attending the scholarship award ceremony were Mr. Asazumma Shinichi (Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam), and Ms. Nagura Kazuko (Deputy Chief Representative of the JETRO office in Hanoi). Representing AEON Group and the AEON 1% Club Scholarship Fund were Mr. Yasutsugu Iwamura (General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam), Mr. Ishikawa Tadahiko (Regional Director of AEON Vietnam in Hanoi), and Mr. Honda Yosei (Secretary General of AEON 1% Club). Representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department).

As part of an official cooperation agreement with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities since 2012, this is the 7th consecutive year that AEON Group has awarded scholarships to students of the University.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Honda Yosei (General Secretary of AEON 1% Club) said that the goal of the scholarship is to support students in their studies, scientific research, and exchanges with Vietnamese students, thereby further strengthening the friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Student Bui Nhat Linh (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) spoke on behalf of the scholarship recipients at the ceremony.
AEON Group awarded scholarships to students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Foreign Trade University, and the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture. Representing the scholarship recipients, Bui Nhat Linh (Faculty of International Studies) expressed gratitude for AEON Group's support and shared her future aspirations with AEON representatives.

Following the scholarship awarding ceremony, representatives from AEON Group took the time to share information about their recruitment needs and experiences, and to listen to the students' aspirations and concerns.
