The program began with a small workshop attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University), Ms. Ta Thi Bich Ngoc (Deputy Secretary of the University's Youth Union), Mr. Nguyen Huu Trung (representative of the International Department of the Central Youth Union), representatives of the University's youth, the Vovinam Club, and 15 Indian cadets.

The school's representatives introduced the activities of the Youth Union and Student Association clubs to their counterparts. In addition, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan and the Indian representative, Colonel Yudhavir Singh Sajwan, shared warm and insightful thoughts about the long-standing and close relationship between Vietnam and India. The Indian representative specifically mentioned that people in the northern part of their country have a similar appearance and lifestyle to Vietnamese people, which made the cadets feel a sense of familiarity when they came to Vietnam and participated in this exchange program. The Indian cadets toured the campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Museum of Anthropology, and the lecture halls. At the end of the program, the entire cadet team interacted with the student clubs at the university.
