Students can choose to pay for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months to the educational institution or school where the student is studying.

MSc. Nguyen Duc Toan - Deputy Director of the Communication Center, Vietnam Social Insurance spoke at the seminar. Many new and practical information about social insurance and health insurance for students were shared at the seminar: From 2021, students will be covered 100% of inpatient treatment costs nationwide. In case of medical examination and treatment without presenting complete procedures, the health insurance fund will pay directly at the social insurance agency within the scope and benefit level according to regulations. Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Hanh (Faculty of Philosophy) shared about how social insurance and health insurance have helped her and her family overcome difficult times in life and this is an excellent social security policy of our Party and State.

The students participated in the discussion, Q&A and interaction with the guests very enthusiastically. The discussion was a direct dialogue for experts to answer specific questions and situations about insurance types that students were interested in. The special point was that the discussion was organized and led by students studying in the school to contribute to expressing the students' thoughts, wishes and questions in a lively way.

Many students shared that they were soon aware of the benefits of social insurance and health insurance policies. The nature of social insurance is to ensure partial compensation or replacement of workers' income when they lose or reduce their income due to illness, maternity, work-related accidents, occupational diseases, unemployment, retirement age or death. Based on contributions to the social insurance fund organized by the State, health insurance is a form of insurance with a deeply shared community character applied in the field of medical examination, treatment and health care for everyone, not for profit, organized by the State and responsible subjects participating according to the provisions of the Law on Health Insurance. Along with economic development is the continuous growth of the social security system, especially the Social Insurance (SI) and Health Insurance (HI) policies, which have promoted their pivotal role in the social security system, actively contributing to social stability, realizing the goal of a rich people, a strong country, and a fair, democratic, and civilized society.

The atmosphere of the discussion was more joyful and lively thanks to the performances of students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, especially the impressive performance of members of the Vovinam Club.
